Juanita Humar is a Colombian actress, known for her performance in the popular 1991 soap opera La casa de las dos palmas and for her portrayal of "Amparo Hernández" in the 2009 series Victorinos. [1]
Career
The daughter of actor and director Alí Humar and Lyda Bernal, she began her career in Colombian television with an appearance in the telenovela La casa de las dos palmas by Manuel Mejía Vallejo, in the role of "Isabel". In 1992, she joined the cast of Luis Felipe Salamanca's soap opera El último beso alongside actors such as Nelly Moreno, Guillermo Gálvez, Adriana Ricardo and Jairo Camargo. Puerta Grande, a television series based on the life and career of Colombian bullfighter César Rincón, was her next television appearance. In 1996 she played the role of "Libia" in the series Las ejecutivas, appearing in the second season of the series. From that moment on, the actress moved away from television productions in Colombia and moved to Ecuador to work as a plastic arts teacher, returning to television thirteen years later to join the cast of the series Victorinos in 2009.[2][3]
