Arrest
On September 2, 2017, Hupperterz was taken into custody in connection to the murder of Jenna Burleigh, after her body was discovered on the property of his grandmother in Paupack Township.
Burleigh was last seen at about 2:00 a.m. local time on Thursday August 31, 2017, in the area of Pub Webb, a bar and restaurant along the 1500 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue in Philadelphia.
Authorities believe Burleigh was killed in Philadelphia and transported to Wayne County by Hupperterz.
On September 1, 2017, Philadelphia police executed a search warrant at that home in the 1700 block of North 16th Street.
In the home, police found blood spattered near the kitchen sink, rear door, and on a trash can lid, along with 10 to 15 pillow case-size bags of marijuana and about $20,000 in cash.
A neighbor also heard screams coming from the apartment around 4 a.m. Thursday.
Legal Proceedings
Hupperterz faces one charge of murder. More people could also face charges. Hupperterz admitted to elements of the crime.
