Josh Haywood is a student at Hillcrest High School who was shot twice and nearly killed during an altercation with a 14 year old teen named Ethan.

Josh is a 16 year who had animosity with 14 year old Ethan over insults he received in regards to his dead mother. On October 25th, 2016, Josh wanted to retaliate by making a visit to Ethan's school, Union Middle School, and claiming that he was going to fight him after school. Josh came with a couple of his friends in case that Ethan was going to bring his gun to shoot. During the altercation between the two, Ethan took out his gun and shot him twice. ^{[1] [undefined]}

Josh was in critical condition during surgery, and is now in a stable condition.
