Jordin Emily Taylor was a student at Texas State University. Taylor was a respiratory care freshman at the university and a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

She hailed from Burleson, Texas and graduated from Centennial High School in 2015. ^[1]

On October 29, 2016, Taylor's body was found underneath a shuttle bus in Martindale, Texas following an off-campus party involving university Greek life. ^[1]

An autopsy shows the cause of death being consistent with being struck and dragged by the bus, and the sheriff's office said her death appears to be an accident. ^[1]

Taylor somehow came into contact with the bus and was dragged more than 500 feet.
