Personal Life

Born on August 3, 1996 in Westfield, Massachusetts.

Tierney grew up as the oldest brother with parents John Sr. and Jodie.

John's younger brother is Joseph Tierney, who competes in Track and Field.

John is a scholarship athlete playing division one lacrosse at The University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Outside of lacrosse, during his spare time, he plays football and lifts weights.

Education

John Tierney was accepted to University of Massachusetts, Amherst in order to study economics and play division one lacrosse.

Before the University of Massachusetts, John attended Wilbraham and Monson Academy, where he received the Eveline Barber Award for finance and entrepreneurship.

Winning this award inspired John to go into economics and further expand his knowledge of investing.

Tierney notes, Jim Irzyk, impacted him deeply, when they read the book The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham.

Tierney was nicknamed the "Wolf of Main Street" by his high school newspaper.

John is a member of The University of Massachusetts Entrepreneurship club and the Pre-Law club.

Tierney plays on The University of Massachusetts lacrosse program, which recorded multiple top 20 wins.

He plans to graduate in 2019.

Entrepreneurship

Having won the Eveline Barber Award for finance and entrepreneurship, he created Titan Automat.

It is a vending company that makes lucrative residual income at constant rates.

John has five locations where his machines are placed.

In July 2016 he invested in Everipedia.

In August 2016 he invested in Legion M.

Lacrosse

John committed to play college lacrosse and study economics during his Freshman summer in high school.

He was a three time Brine All-American and a US Lacrosse All-American.

He also played in the Team USA game vs. Canada where he recorded three goals.

Tierney had 370 points in 56 career games.

His current public investments Include Wells Fargo, Enterprise Product Partners LP, Berkshire Hathaway, V.F Corp, Realty Income Corp, Union Pacific Railroad, Genuine Parts Corp, General Mills, and Buckeye Partners LP.

His current private investments include Everipedia and Legion M.
