John Owen Lowe (born November 6, 1995) is an American actor from Los Angeles, California. He is the youngest son of Rob Lowe. [2]
Personal Life
John Owen Lowe was born in Los Angeles, California to the famous actor Rob Lowe and makeup artist Sheryl Berkoff. His parents met once on a blind date and hit it off again later on the set of a movie called Bad Influence. John Owen's uncle is Chad Lowe, known for his roles in ER and Melrose Place. He also has an older brother named Edward Matthew who graduated from Duke University. [2]
Lowe previously kept his struggles with alcohol private, but on April 2, 2020, the 2-year anniversary since going sober, he decided to open up about his journey.
He shared on Instagram:
"I haven't been vocal about my sobriety on here just because I felt it was something I wanted to keep personal, but I had a change of heart today.
Two years in and I am more grateful than ever to have a community of support and friends who continue to build me up and hold me accountable."

Education
John Owen Lowe graduated from Stanford University with straight A's. He was an early intern for Eli Broad's stem cell laboratory, but decided he might want to purse a career in Hollywood. [2]

John Owen Lowe has appeared in several films and tv shows.
Among them are Holiday in the Wild (2019), The Grinder (2015) and A Canine Affair (2014). [1]
He also joined his father and brother on the A&E reality series titled "The Lowe Files".
In the show, John's family travels all over the United States in search of mythological beasts and paranormal activity. [1]

Rob Lowe appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and John Owen Lowe was backstage roasting him in real time. When Ellen asked him about he was mentioned in the "Sexy At Every Age" list for People's 2019 Sexiest Man Alive article, John Owen said "You should ask him how many times he's been on the list". When they shared sext photos of Rob from the West Wing, John Owen said "Surpirsed he's not shirtless right now!" He also compared his dad to a dinosaur when Ellen showed a photo of Rob near a large 100 year old tortoise. [2]
