Personal Life
John Henry Lunetta was the medical director of the American Red Cross for the Nevada region with a focus on their blood services. [1] Lunetta had son a with his girlfriend Karen Michelle Jackson.
Murder-Suicide
On July 10, 2017, relatives called police at about 7:40 p.m., requesting a welfare check, then entered the home on the 10300 block of Numaga Road, near South Rainbow Road and West Cactus Avenue, and found the bodies of John, Karen Michelle Jackson, and their son.
The family pet dog had also been shot.
John killed the others, then himself in an act of murder suicide and their bodies were at the residence for at least a day before they were discovered.
Jackson’s daughter, had stated John was controlling of Karen and that the couple argued a lot.
Neighbors also saw a moving truck in front of John's home over the weekend and wondered whether Karen was leaving.
