JohnFeitelberg, better known as simplyFeitelberg, is an American blogger and podcaster for Barstool Sports. [1] He is based in New York City. Feitelberg is the creator of the meme/phrase " Saturdays Are For The Boys." [2]


Feitelberg is originally from Fall River, Massachusettsand is the son of John and Polly Feitelberg. He attended Tansey Elementary School and Morton Middle School during his childhood and attended Portsmouth Abbey High School. [1]

Feitelberg started working at Barstool Sports around 2008 for David Portnoy and at the time was working from a what he described as a "terrible apartment and making about $400 a month." Barstool Sports would grow to become a large lifestyle blog with Feitelberg being one of the main people at the helm. As a podcaster, he is the host of KFC Radio alongside KFC. On June 11th, 2016, Feitelberg tweeted out ""FRIDAYS ARE FOR THE MEN, SATURDAYS ARE FOR THE BOYS" - some old guy yelled that, it makes no sense, but I love it." The tweet went viral and was followed with reponses of differents photos and GIFs captioned "#SaturdaysAreForTheBoys." Saturdays Are For The Boys grew to become one of Barstool Sports' most prominent brands. [3]
