Johannah Poulston Deakin was an English midwife, best known as the mother of singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson. She was an assistant on the sets of the famous British television series, Fat Friends. Diagnosed with Leukemia, Johannah passed away on December 7, 2016, married to Daniel Deakin.

Johannah was born on March 25, 1973, and raised in Doncaster; a large market town in South Yorkshire in England, United Kingdom. Johannah had a career in Health Science working as a midwife.

At an early age, she had already been married to Troy Austin and at 18 years of age, she gave birth to her first child, Louis, on December 24, 1991.

Johannah and Troy went their separate ways a week after Louis’ birth and raises Louis on her own before marrying Mark Tomlinson.

Louis considered Mark as his father and adopted his last name.

Johannah had had four daughters with Mark; Charlotte, Félicité, Daisy, and Phoebe Tomlinson. Her twins, Daisy and Phoebe has appeared in the TV series, Fat Friends, alongside their Louis.

In 2011, Johannah and Mark took a break, leading to their divorce.

In 2013, Johannah got engaged to a doctor named Daniel Deakin and On February 12, 2014, she was blessed with her second twins – Ernest and Doris Deakin. Johannah and Deakin took to the alter on July 20, 2014 and remained married till she passed in 2016 after suffering from leukemia.

Being mother of celebrity star and former member of One Direction, Louis Tomlinson, Johannah's popularity surged on social media. She go the opportunity to work on the sets of ITV network's Tv series, Fat Friend.

Johannah has made public appearances with the members of One Direction band and featured in the band's concert film, This Is Us.

On August 10, 2015 she collaborated with the band at the Believe in Magic Cinderella Ball, a charity event, to raise more than 2 million pounds that was aimed at bringing happiness into the lives of terminally ill children. The event was held at The National History Museum in London.

In 2016, Johannah was diagnosed with advanced leukemia and hospitalized at University London College Hospital. She was later admitted at Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield where she passed away at the age of 43.

Her death saddened the heart of many including the band.

Many celebrities, including Zayn Malik, Cheryl Cole, Lady Gaga, and Nina Dobrev extended their condolences to the family.

In 2017, Louis Tomlinson revealed that Johannah last wish was for him to reconcile with his former bandmate Zayn Malik.
