In 2007, he joined Tampa Bay Times as a Reporter, and up to 2012 he served as a Sports reporter there. From 2010 to 2012, Joel worked as a Reporter at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. From 2013 to 2017, he was a Senior National Reporter at BuzzFeed. From 2017 and until now, Joel has been a Senior Writer at ESPN.
Education
In 2000, Joel received a B.A in News-editorial Journalism from Texas Christian University. Previously, he finished Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.
