Jodeen "Jodi" Hinz was a 16-year-old sophomore at Plymouth High School. She lived in Adell, Wisconsin but is originally from Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
Life
Jodi was baptized and confirmed member of the United Methodist Church. Her biggest passion in life was horses; she earned many awards from riding and showing horses in several county and state fairs around the country. The Jefferson Draft Horse Club honored her as Horse Queen. Jodi also enjoyed reading and traveling with her family.
Jodi is remembered by her friends and family for her infectious smile and upbeat spirit.
Death
On January 2nd around 7 am, Hinz and a friend were driving a pickup truck westbound County Highway U. Hinz lost control of the vehicle due to Black ice on the road, went into a ditch, then collided into a tree. Hinz was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
A memorial fund is being established in her memory for the Beaver Creek Bridle and Saddle Club or the Percheron Horse Association.
