On May 13, 2017, was stabbed and killed on the steps of a Hindu temple in Enfield after a private party which was publicized on Snapchat got out of control. ^{[8] [2]}

Two other teenagers were left with serious injuries as violence flared among more than 100 youths, some as young as 12, who spilled out into the streets at about 10:30 p.m. local time.
