Joanna Gaines was born in April 19, 1978 in Kansas. She earned a degree in communications from Baylor University. She then headed to New York to work as an intern. ^[12]

She opened a boutique that is her own in 2003. Joanna joined Sarah Richardson as a HGTV lifestyle host for the network. ^[10]

Joanna Gaines and her husband Chip Gaines are the co-hosts of HGTV's Fixer Upper. They also own Magnolia Homes, Magnolia Market and Magnolia Realty. ^[12]

Joanna and Chip Gaines have 4 children together named Drake, Ella Rose, Duke, and Emmie Kay.
