Jo was running a workshop on becoming a writer, 'Writing Your Life Story' and while I have known Jo for many years, and seen her speak in plenary sessions at conferences many times before, I hadn't participated in one of her workshops.
What a treat!
Jo shared so many nuggets of wisdom, provided so much practical advice and really concrete tips on how to proceed that everyone in that packed workshop left feeling they had been given a unique gift.
Jo is witty, pragmatic, personable and warm, and gives you the feeling she is speaking only to you, with a message that is uniquely your own.
I would travel a long way to hear Jo speak again, and look forward to attending more of her workshops in the future.
