Jim Toth (born January 1, 1970) is a talent agent and is the spouse of the Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon.^[1]

Jim Toth was born on January 1, 1970 as James Joseph Toth in Pennsylvania, USA. His father Jimmy Joe Toth was a blue collar worker who worked at a small steel town in rural Pennsylvania to support his family.^[2]

He attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and graduated with a degree in political science. He is also an athletic that loves to run.^[3]

He met Resse through work as she was a client at Creative Artist Agency (CAA) where he works as a talent agent.Although

he was never her agent they met during a mutual party where Jim came as a rescuer to Reese when a random drunk guy was hitting on her.

During that time Resse was in a relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal, but after the breakup she started dating Jim in March 2010. Things went well from there and on 28th December 2010, Jim Toth proposed Reese with a four-carat diamond ring, and they got engaged.

They both got married on 26th March 2011 in Ojai, California. It was a lavish wedding which was attended by big celebrities.The both have one kid named Tennessee James Toth in 2012 though he his the stepdad of two of her kids.

Jim started his career struggling first as a financial consultant who made him humble and hardworking.He

began focusing on entering the showbiz world and from then started serving in the mailroom of Creative Artist Agency in 1995 from then with determination the was the top talent agent at CAA up until now.

As a talent agent he has represented many A-listed celebrities like Scarlet Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, and Robert Downey.

He has worked with many renowned personalities.

The couples were arrested in April 2013 for drunk driving and basically on the wrong side of the lane.

The two were pulled over by the American Police for suspicion of drinking and driving.

Meanwhile, in the sobriety test, he was tested positive and was found guilty of drinking and driving.

Resse panicked and started threatening the police officer mentioning her status and because of that she got arrested too but the two got released after paying fines but Jim was ordered to attend an alcohol education program, perform 40 hours of community service, and also was given 12 months’ probation.

He has been in the industry since 1995 and has worked with A-list celebrities and from his career as a talent agent he has earned a good amount.

The couple owns a mansion worth $12.7 million in Pacific Palisades and his net worth can be estimated as $4 million.
