J.I.D. is a Rapper from East Atlanta, Georgia who has released music since 2015 and is now a frequent collaborator with J cole and is part of Dreamville Records. [1]

J.I.D. was born and raised in East Atlanta.

He grew up in a family of musicians and has stated in interviews that he was inspired by a family member of his who is considered a music legend.

Sometime around 2012, J.I.D. was born, he had decided that he wanted to pursue being a

rapper full-time.

He had been kicked out of college and decided to make discoveries about himself by reading books.
