Jibril Hassan Jackson is an attorney and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California. He works at the law firm Cooley LLP and founded the social media aggregator HYVE.^[1]

From 2006 to 2010, Jibril worked as an Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. In 2010-2012, he was an Associate at Citigroup. Later, he had the same position at Guggenheim Partners.^[1] Currently, Jibril is an attorney at Cooley LLP and is launching HYVE which organizes users social media accounts into one app as well as keeps track of personalized trends.

In 2003 Jibril received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Morehouse College. In 2006 he obtained Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.^[1]

Jibril is a son of Brenda M. Blaisch and a stepson of Dr. Brian Blaisch of Oakland, California. His mother is a nurse in the urology clinic of Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Hayward, California. His stepfather is a pediatrician in private practice in Oakland.

In June, 2011 Jibril married Dawn Marie Zimniak at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York.
