Allegations

On June 22, 2016 Neveaux was taken into custody after a manhunt following the shooting and murder of Deputy David Michel Jr. [6]

Neveaux is accused of fatally shooting David Michel Jr. in the back three times with a.38-caliber during a a pedestrian stop in Harvey, Louisiana. [6]

He is being charged with first-degree murder and assault.

Neveaux confessed to police that he did not want the officer to find the gun he had on him because he was still on probation.
