Jenny Taft is an American Reporter and Television host for Fox Sports 1. She resides in Los Angeles, California.
Early Life and Education

Jenny was boen in Edina, Minnesota and grew up outside of Minneapolis. Her mother, Mary, competed as a speed skater through high school and her father, John, was a two-time national champion as a member of the hockey team at the University of Wisconsin who went on to captain the 1976 U.S. Olympic hockey team and play six seasons in the National Hockey League. She was a varsity athlete in high school and lettered in hockey, lacrosse, and tennis, earning the 2005 NSLA Player of the Year honor as top female lacrosse player in Minnesota. Taft attended Boston University where she was a collegiate athlete on her school's women's lacrosse team. She graduated in 2010 with a degree in Broadcast journalism.
Career
Jenny began her career in Minneapolis working multiple media personality positions. Along with being the On-Air host and Sports Reporter for Fox Sports North, Jenny was the In-Arena Host/EMcee for the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Wild. In 2013, she was promoted and moved to Los Angeles to become a Reporter and host for Fox Sports 1.
Taft has a number of roles and responsibilities at Fox Sports 1 including being the sideline reporter for the network’s soccer and college football coverage, field reporter for several championship events, Monster Energy Supercross pit reporter and host for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. In addition, she is part of the rotation on SKIP AND SHANNON: UNDISPUTED and THE HERD, and for the 2017 college football season, she is teamed with play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson and analyst Joel Klatt.
Personal Life
Jenny is fluent in the French language. In n her free time, she enjoys working out, yoga, running and horseback riding. Jenny's favorite movie is Love Actually, favorite TV show is Parenthood, and favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. Jenny is married to Matt Gilroy and they live in Santa Monica, California together.
