Jeff Lowe is a movie blogger and podcast host at Barstool Sports. He is based in New York City.
Early Life and Education
Lowe is originally from central Connecticut.
He grew up in Austin and graduated from Cedar Park High School. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned a BA in broadcast journalism in 2013.
Career
During college, Lowe was the Social Media Coordinator at Major League Baseball Advanced Media, interned for Team USA at the 2012 Summer Olympics, covered Penn State’s NCAA athletics programs, as well as interned with with MLB.com and Dial Global Sports. Lowe also served as a sports and news anchor for the Centre County Report which earned the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award in 2013.
From 2014-2017, Lowe was the Social Media Producer at Good Morning America and won the Emmy for Outstanding Morning Program at the Daytime Emmy Awards in 2017. In August 2017, Lowe founded the movie website and podcast Lights Camera, Movies. The program was brought under the Barstool Sports family of podcasts in May 2018.
