Jeff Giesea is an Entrepreneur, Consultant, and Psychological warfare specialist based in Washington D.C. He is originally from Portland, Oregon.
Early Life and Education
Jeff Giesea grew up in Portland and became a student at Stanford University. An active participant in his studies, Jeff was a Publisher/Editor of The Stanford Review and studied Mandarin in Beijing in an intensive summer program. In addition, he was a researcher for the Stanford GSB Venture Captial Project. He graduated in 1997 with both his Master's and Bachelor's degrees.
Career
After graduating, Jeff Giesea worked for Peter Thiel's hedge fund, Thiel Capital and then worked as a Public Affairs Special Project Manager for Koch Industries. After founding and selling several successful start-ups, Giesea decided to share his knowledge and experience as a coach for executives. His analysis has been featured in the Harvard Business Review and Entrepreneur.
Involvement Supporting Trump Campaign
Realizing the fragile world around him, in 2015 Giesea recognized that saving Western Civilization was a cause bigger than himself that he was willing to take up. He learned the art of trolling from journalist and troll Chuck Johnson and later wrote a paper titled "It's Time to Embrace Memetic Warfare" where he concludes that trolling and memes are inexpensive yet powerful ways to utilize propaganda.
Along with Mike Cernovich, they built MAGA3X, a grassroots, digital, pro-Trump organization that specializes in memes. Some of their biggest influencers they assisted included Jack Posobiec and Baked Alaska. After the election, the DeploraBall that Giesea helped organized became a subject of controversy over the growing factions between the "alt-right" and the "alt-light" became apparent.
Memetic Warfare Studies and Social Media Activity
Since the inauguration of Trump has President, Jeff Giesea has attempted to educate others around him about the growing field of memetic warfare. He has written several papers for NATO on the subject and regularly blogs about current events from a psyop perspective on his Medium account. With a growing following on Twitter, as of July 2017, Giesea had over 10K followers on the platform.
Personal Life
Jeff is partially of Mexican American descent through his mother's side. He is gay and is expecting to start a family soon.
