Jayden Rodrigues (b. September 8th, 1989) is an Australian dancer and choreographer based in Sydney, Australia. He is known for appearing in the X-Factor Australia in 2013.
Biography
Dancing to Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)
In 2012, he produced, directed, and choreographed his own live show titled “Turn Up The Music” which was inspired by Usher, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and others. Jayden appeared of X-Factor Australia in 2013 and made it to the Top 24 and was on the show again in 2015 with his dancing group, NeWest. In addition, he is 1/4th of the boyband Continuum whose members are from Italy, United States, The Netherlands & Australia.
Jayden joined YouTube in June 2009 and posts a number of videos including dancing tutorials and choreographed performances to pop songs. His most popular videos include Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) and Talk Dirty which have garnered over 150 million views on YouTube collectively. His channel grew to be so successful that that he was invited by Google HQ and YouTube Australia to speak at a seminar about how to build an audience on the platform. As of March 2018, Jayden had over 1 million subscribers on YouTube as well as 35k followers on Instagram and 7k followers on Twitter. [1]
Jayden teaches at numerous dance schools across Sydney including the renowned Sydney Dance Company.
