Career

On December 23, 2016 Jason Miller was named as the White House Communications Director for Donald Trump's presidency. He resigned the next day after an alleged sex scandal.

Jason was hired as Donald Trump's senior communications adviser for the Trump campaign to replace Corey Lewandowski, who was fired. Jason was previously an aide to Ted Cruz during the 2016 Republican primary. [undefined] Upon taking the job, Miller deleted his anti-Trump tweets. [666666] [666666]

Before the campaigns, Jason was a partner at Jamestown Associates since 2010, where he managed campaigns and shaped messages for successful House, Senate and gubernatorial races in addition to serving on the senior staffs of two presidential campaigns. Miller’s winning clients have included the comeback campaigns of Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin and South Carolina Congressman Mark Sanford, as well as more than a dozen other successful statewide and Congressional campaigns.

In the 2008 election cycle, Miller served as National Deputy Communications Director on the presidential campaign of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, overseeing the campaign’s rapid response efforts and speaking with the national press corps.

Prior to joining Jamestown, Miller served as Senior Vice President for a nationally recognized high-stakes communications firm, where he specialized in counseling Fortune 500 companies and prominent individuals facing crisis and extreme scrutiny.

Sex Scandal

On December 24, 2016 Jason Miller resigned one day after his appointment to be White House Communications Director. His resignation was rumored to be because of a sex scandal. AJ Delgado, a senior advisor in Trump’s transition team, posted several tweets hinting that Miller was at the center of a sex scandal. [undefined]

“The 2016 version of John Edwards,” she wrote in one tweet, referring to the disgraced ex-Democratic senator who fathered a child with his mistress and became infamous for his extramarital affair. [undefined]
