Jason McKinnon (born December 20, 1980) is a Canadian Actor and Voice artist[1], known for Night at the Museum (2006), Shattered (2007), Wonder (2017), A Million Little Things (2019), and 'The Green Beret's Guide Surviving the Apocalypse'. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada[13].
Biography
He went into the full-time acting program through the aid of a scholarship he earned in High School.
Right after the full-time program, he spent seven (7) years training with an internationally renowned teacher, Warren Robertson[15].
He has done numerous casting directed workshops, voice-over workshops, and industry seminars.
He works on Fiver phoning people like different celebrities like Christopher Walken, Morgan Freeman among others. He loves doing impressions and accents, which he has been doing since he was a kid.
Career
Jason Mckinnon mentioned that his seventh-grade teacher whose name was Lynn Crymble, inspired him to become an actor as she showed him and gave him the required support.
He said:
“My teacher’s name was Lynn Crymble., and she was the genesis of making sure I would continue to be an actor, you know?
But I have always loved acting”
He did a few theater shows.
He did a few plays right off the bat.
He did Grease and he did Hair at Theater Under the Stars.
That was interesting.
But his focus was on film and TV[16].
He organized a show called Level Up, which was directed to kids and teens. Additionally, he organized a show titled Supernatural, which only had one episode.
McKinnon's TV credits include DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The Crossing, Altered Carbon, Travelers, The Flash and The Man in the High Castle, among others.
His film credits include Butterfly on a Wheel, Wonder, One Way, The Delicate Art of Parking, and Halloween: Resurrection, among others[17].
McKinnon featured as Peter in the upcoming American television comedy anthology series, titled The Green Beret’s Guide to Surviving the Apocalypse.
