Jason Kelly is CEO and co-founder of Ginkgo BioWorks [1].
He earned his BS in Chemical Engineering and Biology in 2003 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He then studied under Dr. Drew Endy and earned his PhD in Biological Engineering in 2008.
His doctoral research included the development of a widely adopted measurement standard for characterizing transcriptional elements [0].
