Jason C. Finan (died October 20, 2016) was an American U.S.

Navy Chief Petty Officer from Anaheim, California.

Finan joined the U.S.

Navy in 2003.

^[0]He had been awarded Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Badge, Naval Parachutist Badge, and Diver insignia and had received many decorations, including the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat V device and the Joint Meritorious Unit Award.

On October 20, 2016, died of wounds sustained in a roadside bomb attack near the town of Bashiqa, north of Mosul.

Finan was serving in an advisory capacity to Iraqi Armed Forces fighting against Islamic state militants in Iraq at the time of his death.
