Jane Wood Allen is a former school teacher's aide at Chestatee Elementary School in Gainesville, Georgia. She is a 27-year veteran of the Forsyth County School District.

Allen graduated from Campbell High School. She then attended Brenau University.

On October 3, 2016, Allen was fired from the school after posts she made on Facebook sparked controversy over their perpetuation of racist and anti-minority Sentiments. In one post, she called Michelle Obama a Gorilla.
