Jan Carabeo is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. In March 2014, she joined CBS 3 Eyewitness News as a reporter and in January 2017 Jan Carabeo was named weekend morning anchor. Jan was an anchor and a reporter at WTIC-TV in Hartford, Connecticut, where she worked on the morning news show prior to moving to Philadelphia.[1][2]

She is a native of Maryland.
She grew up in the good influence of her parents.
Because of that, Jan considers them as her role models even at the age of 33.
She comes from a well-educated family.[3]
She earned her Cum Laude from the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism, majoring in Journalism and minoring in English languages and Literature.
Marital Life
Jan is married to Andrew Adamson (a Philly TV Photojournalist).
They engaged on April 2014.[5] After years of enjoying her engaged status, Jan exchanged her wedding vows with her husband on August 25, 2015.
It is not known whether she has any children.The
two make on social media sites. With
her love she enjoys happy married life. Both
live with their Russian Blue cat, Riley, in Philadelphia.
Career
Jan Carabeo worked in New York as a reporter at WSYR-TV in Syracuse, as well as WICZ-TV and WIVT/WBGH-TV both in Binghamton.[4]
Also, she is a passionate traveler and has explored almost every place in America and Europe, as well as running for news coverage and appearing on the TV screen.
She enjoy most when taking photograph, wine degustation, hiking, snow play, and cooking.
Awards and Achievements
In 2011, because of her excellence in the career of reporting, Jan earned a New York Associated Press award for Best News Series, ‘Gold Star Mom’.
It was about a mother’s fight against the Department of Motor Vehicles in order to keep a commemorate license plate (was to honor her son who died in Vietnam). As one of the most talented reporters, Jan has earned her assets on her ride, overcoming several encumbrances and sadness. After attempting various tenures, Jan achieved expected results.[6]
