Jamiles Lartey

Jamiles Lartey is an American journalist based in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a reporter for The Guardian, covering mostly criminal justice, policing and race. [1]

Education

Lartey graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor's degree in Black studies and business. He went on to attend New York University, where he received a Master's degree in journalism.

Career

Lartey has interned at MSNBC in 2013, where he served as a production intern on the Melissa Harris-Perry Show.
