Jaki Cavins (born Jacqueline Joy Cavins on 01/30/1997) is an American Singer-songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota.[1]
Career
Jaki Cavins started her career at an early age singing and dancing in a variety of talent shows across the Minnesota Metropolitan Area, which led to a more visible presence on the Minneapolis nightclub scene, including performances at some of the city's most renowned venues like First Avenue (nightclub) and Moxy Minneapolis Uptown, among others. Most recently, Jaki was chosen by filmmaker, Joseph Strickland, songwriter Cat Ellington, and Record producer Princeton Brown to record four songs that were written and produced by Cat Ellington for the original motion picture soundtrack to Dual Mania, including "The Book of Us," "I'm Still in Love," "Something in Your Eyes," and the award-winning "I Do," which nabbed the honor for Best Song at the 2019 Vegas Movie Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada.[2]
