Personal Life & Education
Willey is set to graduate in the class of 2020.
She is the second oldest of nine children, and serves as a role model to her siblings.
At school she is dedicated and is a member of the school’s swim team.
In the Media
On Tuesday March 20, 2018, Austin Wyatt Rollins allegedly shot at Willey and a male student shortly before 8:00 a.m. local time. He shot her in the hallway of the school and a bullet hit the male student.
Rollins exchanged gunfire with a school resource officer, Blaine Gaskill, who was not injured. Rollins was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Willey was left in critical condition after being shot in the head.
The boy was released.
Authorities stated there was a a prior relationship that existed between Rollins and Willey.
A YouCaring page set up to help the Willey family has raised more than $20,000. On Thursday March 22, 2018, Willey was taken off life support.
