Jada Yuan graduated from Yale University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in history.

She began her journalism career answering phones for New York Magazine, where she spent over a decade as a contributing editor both in print and online at its websites Vulture, the Cut and Daily Intelligencer.

Her cover stories and features have appeared in Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Elle, Glamour and Bloomberg Businessweek.
