On June 7, 2017, Mack and Corey Hill were killed in a shooting early in the morning in Lawndale, Chicago. ^[1]

At about 9:00 a.m. local time, the teenagers were standing on the sidewalk in the 1200-block of South Lawndale when a masked suspect armed with a rifle got out of a silver vehicle and fired multiple gunshots. ^[1] Witnesses stated that the gunman stood over the teenagers and continued to fire shots as they lay dying. ^[1] The shooter got back into the same vehicle and drove away. ^[1]
