Jacob Pechenik is a film producer. ^{[2] [4]}

Jacob is a film producer best recognized for the production of numerous remarkable movies such as The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete, Kiss of the Damned, The Skeleton Twins, Solace and Before Midnight.^[9] His debut as an executive producer was with a movie Terri.^[9]

Prior to joining the movie industry, Pechenik was the CEO of a start-up called TechTrader, meant to create business-to-business enterprise software, which would help in private and public trading exchanges, and cater directly to materials markets.

He was also the creator of company entitled Yellow Jacket Software, which immediately became successful, lasted for several years and was bought by Intercontinental Exchange.^[9]

Jacob studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical engineering.^[9]

On October 22, 2019, Pechenik filed a dissolution of marriage with minor children petition at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles.^[6][8]

The two secretly tied the knot in June 2015.
