Jaclyn Lee is an American journalist who is presently working at WPVI-TV, ABC-Owned Television Station (6ABC News) as news anchor and reporter. She joined the Action News team in January 2020. Jaclyn previously worked for ABC station in Norfolk, Virginia as a general assignment reporter and Anchor.^[1]

Jaclyn Lee was born in Los Angeles, United States. Information about Jaclyn date of birth is not known because she loves to keep some of her personal matters private. She currently lives in Philadelphia, PA.^[14][15]

Jaclyn Lee attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. Some of her activities and societies there are; Robertson Scholars, The Daily Tar Heel, Honors Carolina .^[16]

Jaclyn Lee started her career at Awamaki where she did Storytelling/ Marketing from May 2015 to June 2015. She covered breaking news of protestors striking against Machu Picchu tourism industry, and profiled women’s cooperatives by conducting interviews in Spanish for promotional video distribution.^[17]

From June 2015 to July 2015, She worked as a researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Rwanda where she conducted research on Genocide, Human rights, International law and Rwandan society and also on international experience befriending locals, finding translators and conducting interviews.

Jaclyn worked as reporter at S.I.T. in Kunming, Yunnan, China where she documented Cultural Masters preserving traditional Chinese culture, and researched rural ethnic minorities’ adaptation to booming tourism industry.

From January 2016 to October 2016, she worked as Weekend Assignment Desk Editor at WRAL-TV in Raleigh's, North Carolina area where she confirm breaking news updates and story details, responsible for running weekend assignment desk, make follow-up calls on daily news stories and conduct beat checks.

Jaclyn worked as General Assignment Reporter/ Weekend Evening Anchor at WVEC ABC 13, 13News Now, wvec.com, G/O Digital in Norfolk, Virginia Area where she pitch, write, shoot and edit two source-driven PKGs and two VOSOTs daily, extensively covered Virginia’s political black face/sexual assault allegations scandals; used sources to break news ahead of other outlets and for exclusive interviews, conducted several investigations into U.S.

Navy critical staffing shortages.

She worked as political beat reporter covering Virginia legislature and federal representatives and also anchor 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekend newscasts before joining WPVI-TV, ABC-Owned Television Station in January 2020 where she presently works as anchor and reporter.
