Jack Ryan Smith is a British college Student known for being one of two suspects in a gang rape that took place on the night he attended a college party. ^[1] According to the woman's testimony, she attended a party at a house that is used by members of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, though the fraternity has stated they were not involved in the planning of the party or event she attended.

Smith was born and raised in the country of England. He grew up in the city of Chelmsford, Essex. He is a graduate of New Hall School.

Smith relocated to the United States where he attends the University of Central Florida. He is currently studying in the Pre-Business department.

Smith is a VIP Security guard for Gilt Nightclub in Orlando.

An unnamed woman has reported that on the evening of Friday, April 20th, 2018, she attended a party at 4900 block of Fiske Circle, and that she would later be gang-raped by two University of Central Florida students. One of the accused students is David Anthony Kirk. ^[1] The other student is his friend, Jack Ryan Smith. The address the alleged victim shared to the police is the party home for the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.

On her way to the party, she drank vodka and flavored water.

When she arrived at the party, she drank green apple-flavored shaved ice with vodka and spent most of night in the backyard by a fire pit, where she talked with Kirk and Smith, according to an arrest report.

The woman goes on to say that she remembers "Snapshots" from the night.

She remembers waking up in a bedroom, on her stomach in a queen-sized bed, her feet on the floor, and naked.

Smith, she told deputies, was raping her, and that at the same time, Kirk was forcing her to perform oral sex on him.

She heard the two students say things such as, "my turn, my turn", and they would switch positions as she cried.

She texted her friends for help, met them and went home.

The next day, she went to Florida Hospital East Orlando.

The University of Central Florida has suspended the fraternity and has been accused of disruptive conduct and alcohol-related misconduct.

Kirk and Smith have been charged with sexual battery both were booked into Orange County Jail.

Smith paid his $10,000 bond and was released.
