Jack Headley was a student at Windsor High School and was expected to finished in 2017. ^[1] He lived in Windsor, Colorado but was originally from Lake Norden, South Dakota. ^[1] Jack was a student-athlete and played on the Lacrosse team for Windsor High School. In addition, Jack would enjoy going shooting with his family.

On December 15th at 10:47 am, police were alerted of a suicide attempted at Brunner Farm Park which is located north of the football field on the Windsor High School campus. The high school was on lockdown until it was lifted at 11:45 am and police announced that there was a death at the scene at around 12:30 pm.
