Early Life
Ines Helene was born in Bosnia, during the Bosnian War, after the Breakup of Yugoslavia. As a result of the war, Ines and her family immigrated to Sweden as refugees when she was a child. Ines is of Bosnian and Serbian ethnicity. [1]

Education
Ines Helene traveled to London, United Kingdom to attend university planning on becoming a financial analyst at an investment bank. Ines decide to temporarily leave university since she was having a tough time and struggling with health problems. She also wanted to be able to travel and focus on her Instagram modelling. Ines later returned and finished her studies. Ines speaks four languages including Bosnian, Swedish, English, and Spanish which she learned on an international study trip. [1]
Activism
Ines Helene has worked to help refugees and believes that asylum is a human right. She partnered with the NGO, 28. Jun to help Syrian refugees. She has also worked with World Aid Active to ensure the human rights of refugees are respected. Ines uses her Twitter account to discuss issues including institutional racism, police brutality, politics, and environmentalism.
Career
In 2014, Ines Helene joined Instagram and started posting selfies after a break-up with her boyfriend as a fun thing to show her independence. She realized that she could make being an Instagram model a full time career after one of her photos received 5000 retweets on Twitter. [1] Since then, Ines has grown a large platform on both Instagram and Twitter reaching more than 1.6 million followers on Instagram and over 100 thousand followers on Twitter by the end of 2017.
