iFruit Radio is a radio station available in Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V Story Mode for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The name is most likely playing off of the famous iHeartMedia station, iHeartRadio or the Beats 1 station iTunes Radio, especially since it's owned by Fruit Computers in the game. [1]
Overview
iFruit Radio was released in Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V Story Mode for PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 12th, 2019 as part of The Diamond Casino Heist update. The music selection is curated by hip hop artist Danny Brown who DJ's for the station with special guests such as Skepta. The station features a playlist, original music, and humorous talk radio quips from its hosts
Danny Brown is debuting a song exclusively through the station with Baauer and Channel Tres called "Ready to Go". Other artists releasing new songs for the digital station are Denzel Curry, YBN Cordae, slowthai, and Pop Smoke. Danny Brown dropped the album uknowhatimsayin¿ in early 2019.
