Career
Sufyan is a veteran of the British Army who has also worked in manufacturing and security.[1] He served in Her Majesty's Armed Forces between 2007 and 2011in locations across the UK and abroad. His focus during the time in the British Armed Forces was all aspects of vehicle supply, from tanks to trucks. During this time, he had specialist training in the field of logistics and excelled in those courses. He has demonstrated successful experience working in teams, leading projects and working on his own, sometimes under very challenging conditions, remaining calm and delivering excellent results. During his time in the Armed Forces, University and other industries, he has developed very good communication skills and a high level of discipline.
Politics
Sufyan has a powerful belief in democracy and believes that only the Brexit Party is ready to fight to defend democracy in the United Kingdom after the Brexit referendum.[1] After seeing the failure of his local Member of parliament, Colleen Fletcher, to respect democracy and represent the will of her constituency by whipping Labour to block Brexit, Sufyan decided to become a part time student and devote the rest of his time to giving the people of Coventry a proper voice to represent their will.
Unlike any member of the previous parliament Sufyan was born, raised and educated in Africa and suggests that this unique, new representation of a large percentage of the British population, currently unrepresented “will bring a wealth of real life experience to Westminster" and that he "would be proud to represent Coventry, a city I love for its diversity and culture".[1]
