On July 3, 2018, Richard was assaulted by Kino Jimenez at a Whataburger restaurant for wearing a Trump-themed Make America Great Again (MAGA) baseball cap. [1]
The MAGA hat in the viral video was stolen from him by Jimenez, who ripped it off his head, tearing out some of his hair, before throwing a drink at him.
"Y'all ain't supporting s---," Jimenez stated after throwing what was left of a drink at Richard.
"This is going to go great in my f---ing fireplace, b----," Jimenez called out as he approached the exit to leave.
