On December 7, 2016, a police involved shooting occurred at Hug High School in Reno, Nevada. [1]

Shooting

Two male students were fighting outside the school library, when one of them pulled a knife and started lunging it at the student.

[1] A campus police officer intervened and shot the student with the knife in the shoulder. [1]

The unidentified student was taken to a local hospital. [1] People who knew the student say he was a victim of bullying. [1]
