Early life & Education
Hudson was born in Dallas, Texas.
He was entrepreneurial from a young age.
Like most young kids with an entrepreneurial spirit, Hudson's first hustle was selling lemonade in his neighborhood with his sister.
When he moved to Austin, Texas, at the age of 10, he began to dive a little deeper into the world of entrepreneurship.
His innate drive and entrepreneurial propensity lead him to start several business ventures in the coming years.
Including multiple Youtube Channels and a failed graphic design company named “Eksyn,” a name later used for his LLC, holding several of his companies to this day.
His first profitable venture (at the age of 10) was freelance arbitrage.
He was the middleman connecting freelance workers and clients in need of a service.
Career
At the age of 13, Hudson stumbled upon a new business opportunity known as "dropshipping."
Dropshipping is a form of online retail where the seller accepts customer orders but does not keep any inventory on hand; Instead, the retailer places a direct order from the manufacturer, and the manufacturer sends it directly to the customer. [1] [2]
Hudson saw this as a great opportunity to invest the small amount of money he had (around $1,000) into a business with an asymmetrical risk to reward ratio.
Although he was not successful initially, Hudson eventually became an expert in digital marketing, particularly with Facebook and Google Ads.These
skills help propel his career forward and eventually lead to his dropshipping companies generating over 7-figures in annual revenue. [5] [2]
Quotes
“I would only switch directions if I lost passion for what I am doing or the market shifted where I needed to make a drastic change in the business in order to ensure the company’s survival."
"You don’t have to have a groundbreaking, polished idea to start.
Through failure, you will build a skillset and find your strengths and weaknesses quickly.
This opens up news lanes of opportunity.
"
“The most obvious concern as far as longevity in the e-commerce marketplace revolves around Amazon.
The company already has roughly 50% of the entire US E-commerce marketplace and there are no signs of it slowing down.
The two companies that I currently run all provide a unique service or product to market.
This makes it harder for giants like Amazon to impact these businesses.
As amazon might be a place we consider listing our product, the actual business and product we offer is what customers are after.
Not the sales channel it’s listed on.”
