Howell Emanuel Donaldson III is a graduate of St. John's University. ^[1]

Howell Donaldson III is the son of Rosita and Howell Donaldson II.

He went to Alonso High School graduating in 2011. Donaldson played as a guard for the school’s varsity basketball team. ^[1]

On November 28, 2017, just before 5:00 p.m. local time, Howell was taken into custody at a McDonald's restaurant on East 13th Avenue in Ybor City, Florida in connection to the Seminole Heights murders committed in October 2017. ^[1]

Donaldson asked his manager at McDonald’s to hold his loaded 9mm while he goes to take out a loan. ^{[1] [1]}

A coworker at the McDonald’s restaurant where Donaldson was arrested, alerted the manager and both then alerted a police officer who was in the McDonald's at the time.

Multiple officers were waiting for Donaldson when he returned from a local Amscot. ^[1]

He will be charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the killings of Benjamin Edward Mitchell, Monica Caridad Hoffa, Anthony Naiboa and Ronald Felton in Southeast Seminole Heights. ^[1]
