The Hoffmann Group is a group of companies that is active in the trade and manufacture of professional quality tools and Equipment and offers related consulting and services.The head office is Munich. The group employed around 2,900 people in 2016 and had around 135,000 customers in more than 50 countries. Söhne KG in Cologne 1962- Founding of the partner gebo Werkzeuge GmbH in Essen 1973 - Always a step ahead: the premium brand GARANT is introduced 1993- Founding of the Hoffmann-Gruppe ("group") with the objective of achieving nationwide market leadership in Germany. 1994 - Certification to DIN EN ISO 9001. 1995 - Start of internationalization with licence partners in Spain, Switzerland, and Slovenia 2000- Introduction of the online ordering platform for approx. 50,000 quality tools 2001- The first sales company of the tool industry to become certified to the German Association of the Automotive Industry (Verbandes der Deutschen Automobilindustrie) VDA 6.2 (for service companies) and VDA 6.4 (for manufacturers of tools) 2003- Renaming of the Hoffmann-Gruppe to Hoffmann Group. Up to the present day, the only company with a TÜV certificate for over 99 % delivery availability. Joint expansion of sales in Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus with partners 2006- Opening of the TechnologyCenter in Nuremberg.
