On Sunday, February 4, 2018, Parks was arrested in connection to the shooting death of Tempe fire Capt. Kyle Brayer. [1]

Brayer was riding on the back of a golf cart with several other people heading to Civic Center Plaza in Scottsdale, Arizona at 2:30 a.m. [1]

Parks was allegedly in a red Scion coupe and began to bump the group in the golf cart with the front end of his vehicle.

Brayer got out of the golf cart and approached Parks on the driver’s side window when he was shot in the head.
