Helana Deland McCullagh is a Canadian Music artist known for her adept crafting of experimental Synthpop songs. ^{[8] [3]} Her 2018 releases garnered her tremendous adulation from music critics both in the U.S. and Canada. ^{[5] [6] [8]}

Deland was born and raised in the city of Montreal. ^[9]

She has attended Concordia University and Université du Québec à Montréal. ^[9]

In 2015, Helena released her first EP titled, "Drawing Room".

The album was independently released and was mixed by Jesse Mac Cormack.

In 2018, with the funding and collaboration of FACTOR, the Government of Canada, and Canada's Private Radio Broadcasters, she released two separate series of EPs called *From the Series of Songs "Altogether Unaccompanied".*The project is comprised of four volumes, with all EPs containing at least two songs, with the exception of Vol. III.
