American Airlines Uniform
Heather demonstrates the lengths her illness took due to how the uniform has made her feel.
On September 20th, 2016, American Airlines debuted new uniforms to their flight attendant and other employees.
At the time when the uniform where debuted and being used by workers at the end of 2016, Heather began to feel ill.
She would have to visit her doctor many times asking what is wrong with her.
After months of feeling and realizing that it was her uniform that made her feel ill, she took to her blog to detail the number of ways the uniforms provided have an immense amount
of chemicals.
She had respiratory problems and was diagnosed to have respiratory airways disease.
She was given an inhaler and steroids.
The airline has refused to give their workers any comp for trying to get their own uniforms without any trace of the chemicals that the Airline uniform provide to thousands.
Heather sheds light on how the uniform has given many of the workers an array of side effects.
Some of the side effects include: Nose bleeds, fatigue, eye infections, nausea.
And o thers have even gotten terrible sinus infections.
