Hart Lambur is a Co-Founder of UMA-Project and Risk Labs. He was previously the Chief executive officer and Founder of Openfolio and has previously worked for Goldman Sachs as a Technical analyst. He graduated from Columbia University in the city of New York. He is from Edmonton, Alberta and he is a member of Founder's pledge community
Education
Hart Lambur hails from Edmonton, Alberta and he attended Upper Canada College. In 2005, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer science from Columbia University in the city of New York where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Career
Hart Lambur, before graduating from Columbia University, worked at Goldman Sachs, New York as a Summer Technical Analyst and as a java programmer for the market risk technology team. He was also a Teaching Assistant at the Computer Science Department and a Research Assistant at Columbia Robotics Laboratory of Columbia University between September 2004 and January 2005.
Lambur returned to Goldman Sachs after graduating from the University and he served the company as an Interest Rate Trader for almost eight years (June 2005 to February 2013).
During his long year of service, he provided liquidity in US treasuries for a diverse range of clients including central banks, money managers, and hedge funds.
In December 2013, he founded Openfolio, a personal finance tracking platform that combined the shared data insights of thousands of investors to help the community make better financial decisions.
Hart Lambur is currently a Chief executive officer and Co-Founder of Risk Labs and UMA which were founded in March 2018 and September 2018 respectively.
Personal Life
Hart currently resides in New York City. He has been an active member of the Founder’s Pledge Community in 2018. Founders Pledge is a group of entrepreneurs and investors who have pledged to give a substantial part of future proceeds to charitable causes.
