In the Media
On January 23, 2018, Dysinger was a wounded victim in the Marshall County High School Shooting perpetrated by Gabe Parker. In a public Snapchat post, she forgave Parker for his actions and stated that she is praying for him and everyone else affected by the tragedy.
Dysinger added that “The boy who did this was hurting too.
And we can’t hate him.
I love you all.
Praying for you.”
It was later revealed that Gabe Parker was the perpetrator of the shooting. [1] Her classmates, Bailey Nicole Holt and Preston Ryan Cope, were pronounced dead as a result of the shooting.
